"Ontwerp een gezinswoning die voldoende privacy biedt, maar bewaar het uitzicht op de natuur. En hou bovendien rekening met de gewenste strakke vormgeving. Holistic Architecture 50/5 is erin geslaagd deze opdracht tot een goed einde te brengen, daarvan getuigen de talrijke publicaties in binnen- en buitenlandse tijdschriften. Een grote, gesloten muur, opgetrokken uit Waimes-natuursteen, schermt de woning af. De muur wordt enkel onderbroken door een eenvoudige metalen deur die toegang geeft tot het huis. Inkomhal en gang krijgen door de natuurstenen muur en de indirecte verlichting een subtiele lichtinval. In de leefruimte stromen het daglicht en de natuur op de rechthoekige waterpartij en het wuivende riet. Vanuit de woonkamer kun je via zeven stapstenen naar het gezellige terras midden in het water. Ook op de bovenverdieping geniet ge door de grote ramen van de natuurpracht. De strakke vormgeving van het huis wordt enkel doorbroken door de conische vormgegeven schil die in de leefruimte oprijst. Deze me hout beklede constructie is een woonkamer in de woonkamer. De conische schil vormt een cocon waarin je een gezellige zitplek ontdekt. Deze bewaart toch voldoende contact met en uitzicht op de rest van de leefruimte en de tuin."

“Design a family home that offerce
enough privacy, but keeps the view on nature. And also keep the tight design in
mind. Holistic Architecture 50/ has managed to accomplish this mission,
witnessed by the numerous publications in magazines in interior and abroad. A
large, closed wall, built of stone-Waimes,
portions off the house. The wall is only interrupted by a
simple metal door that gives acces to the house. Entrance and the hallway
obtain a subtle light by the stone wall and the indirect lighting. In the
living space flows daylight and nature of the rectangular pond and the waving
reeds. Through seven steppingstones you have the opportunity to go from the
living room to the cozy terrace, located in the middle of the water. Also on
the upper floor you can enjoy of the natural beauty through the large windows.
The tight design of the house is only interrupted by the conical shaped shell
which rises in the living room. This construction coated in wood is a lounge in
the living room. The conical shell forms a cocoon in which you discover a cozy
seating. This room keeps sufficient contact with the rest of the living space
and garden."
